Which skin care products with eyelash extensions?

Hi folks,
I got eyelash extensions today and they are amazing. I have non oil based eye makeup remover (that my eyelash technician gave me) but I know you’re not supposed to use oil based products near/on your eyes as it breaks down the eyelash glue so…

Most moisturisers are made from a mix of oil and water (that makes the creamy emulsion) so can I use moisturisers and eye creams? Is it just oil itself that needs to stay away from the eyelash glue?

Would appreciate your thoughts please 🙂

    Hi ZiggyZone,

It’s perfectly fine to keep using your regular moisturisers and eye creams as long as you don’t actually apply them on or over the lashes.

Keep your eyes open as you apply your moisturiser, focusing on the cheeks, forehead, chin and nose while avoiding the eye area. Then for your eye cream, pat it gently into the skin underneath your eye with your ring finger.

You just have to be a bit extra careful and only use the makeup remover the lash technician gave you on your actual lashes.
