Wax Yourself Question

Do any ladies wax their own legs or bikini line?
Just wondering if you do what products do you use.
There are so many at Priceline that i get a bit daunted and wouldn’t know where to start.

The above post by Jannifer1990 looks like spam to me, which I’ve reported.

Just wondering if the “veet Electrical Roll-on Kit” can be used with other cartridges of different brands? I have recently looked in a salon warehouse and they have professional cartridges for half the price.

i hadnt waxed in such a long time and then recently i tried the nads natural hair removal gel (cold wax) that i had from previous uses… but this time it was soooo horrible… i tired it on the bikini area and everything went wrong, it get all catch up in the hair and it wouldnt come out in a clean wipe with the strip and it just got so messy and so uncomfortable so i am going out first thing tomoro morning to try the veet ready to use wax strips as i have read the reviews and they seem perfectly fine….
nads its just way too messy ….

I’ve only tried waxing my legs at home using Veet cold wax strips. It just seems much easier to clean up than using hot wax. It only hurts/stings a little since the legs are easy to wax, not so much soft skin to tug and pull. On occasion though, I have caused some very minimal bleeding while waxing underarms, I will admit. Pulling a hair too roughly maybe? :S But it’s very very fast, and satisfying to remove a fair amount of hair in one go!

I really like the Nads, or the waxaway sugar based wax, as it dissolves in water so is much more user friendly than other waxes.

I wax my own bikini line with Waxaway body wax strips. I tried to give myself a bikini wax once, disaster!

I like the waxeze best. The strips are larger and they arent as messy.

I’ve recently used the Pharo one by Salon HQ. This is a fantastic as it has self-heating – no need for a microwave/stove top!! Love it as it does a great job and really gets those hairs!! I really especially like it on my bikini line and for my underarms. Leaves no stickiness due to the excellent formulation of the ‘wax’. (For my legs I prefer to shave just because it’s quicker and it’s such a large area). The set comes with cotton strips (a 500 pack!) which I can also purchase separately if when I need to when this initial pack runs out – in quite a while!!
