I have one similar to stickyskip too…it’s awesome for travelling…I separate my skin, hair and makeup and can see where everything is and I love that I can hang on back of door so it’s in eye view and looks organised and then folds up for travelling.

After trying many types, I find clear zip up bags the best. I use one for makeup and another for skincare. Being able to instantly see what is in the bag without having to rummage through or tip everything out makes it so much easier.

I travel overseas on a regular basis and I have given up on the fancy makeup bags, something always spills or explodes and makes a big mess in the bag on the plane ride which is awful to try and clean up. I normally just grab a cheap one from price line with lots of different slots (normally about $30 but they go on sale often too) and then just throw it out if anything spills so I don’t have to try and clean it or scrub it back to life (which is normally the last thing you feel like doing when you have jet lag)

MAC Cosmetics has a small and cute makeup travel bag. I am sure it will fit in any glove compartments or hand bags.

Have a look at Myer currently on stocktake sale. I bought a 3 pce Revlon travel brush set for $12.40 ( norm 20.00) and comes with a red pouch with magnetic clasp. Very cute and handy for any travelling /outdoors.

I use the free cosmetics bags that come with product purchases. I like to keep certain products separate (easier to find), so find that a couple of small pouches works for me. I also like to use those make up brush pouches (with the places for each different brush) – I just removed the brushes I don’t use and put my eye liner, brow pencil etc in it’s place!

I use a free Rimmel makeup bag that I got on promotion. It holds loads. Priceline has a wide range of travel bags from Models Prefer. The travel bag sets a absolutely worth the money. You get three or four bags so you can interchange.

I use free cosmetic bags I get from purchasing various products. I bring way too much cosmetic stuff on travelling and cannot fit them into one bag.

  • So I have two suggestions, Wicked Sista and Make Up Geelong.

Wicked Sista are a lovely Australian made brand, you can find their super cute designed cosmetics bags in leading chemists. They come in a range of sizes and styles which makes me think that if you went down that path you would definitely find something.

However I just purchased a new Makeup Geelong cosmetic bag that I just love. It is pretty cheap but there are also bigger / more expensive in the range as well. Here is the link below if you are interested: http://makeupgeelong.bigcartel.com/
