How often do you actually replace your bath sponge?

This is just a silly little question I wanted to ask! I have an eco-tools bath sponge lying around (from the priceline goodie bag) and am itching to use it just to get it out of my room. Also I’m sick of the pink colour of my current one. However it’s in perfect condition and I’d feel guilty for throwing it out.

I never actually gave this much thought but I only ever replace my bath sponge when it’s absolutely necessary i.e. falling apart. So my current one’s still going strong and it’s been about 7 months.

How often do you guys replace your bath sponge? Lol it’s also a bit of a pain having to go out of your way to buy one.

I replace it every six months, or if it falls apart, then earlier. Every week or so, I pour hot water and some tea tree oil over it to disinfect it.

I only replace when it smells funny or falls apart. The ikea ones falls apart really quickly, but the ones from Sephora are pretty good!

I replace mine whenever I feel it is neccessary, so anytime between 4-6 months., depending how often I have used it. I do thoroughly clean it after EACH use and let it air dry. When possible somewhere in the sun.

I use a sponge, and replace it every few months as the white seems to go yellow from my cleaning products on the tiles.
