I'm currently using Estée Lauder double wear foundation everyday, which is great but I'm wanting to know what other foundation people use that is less expensive for wearing to work but still gives you good coverage.
I am in love with my wake me up rimmel foundation. Unfortunately it really only carries medium colours so I can only use when I am pale. Although I love the Loreal Infallible matte foundation which has really great coverage, and this carries heaps of different colours.
The Rimmel Stay Matte liquid Mousse foundation is my go to. It's high coverage, available at most chemists and supermarkets, is really cheap and comes in a good colour range.
I have tried the L'Oréal infallible matte foundation. It's a very similar consistancy to the rimmel stay matte foundation however I personally found the coverage to be not as full as the rimmel foundation.
I can't work out how to do a link but, if you put in the search bar just under the BeautyHeaven logo you will find a thread about this. The thread is called
Estée Lauder double wear dupe
Thanks cat lol you can't tell my husband is an IT manager!
My pleasure Anne! ^ u ^
I find it adorable that you can never link stuff hahaha!!
Adorable till you realise it's pathetic lol
I really love L'Oréal's true match foundation. One of my favorites!
I like the Maybelline Superstay 24HR Makeup. Works beautifully and is long wearing on my oily skin.
I like the L'Oreal true match :)
I was on the trial team for the L'Oreal True Match foundation and the longer I've had it the more I've liked it. Definitely recommend!
The foundations that worked reallt well for me:
L'oreal true match and Revlon nearly naked (liquid) foundation. So dissapointed they don't sell the liquid one anymore :(
Bourjois is another one that I've enjoyed using :)
I'm loving the bourjois foundation. my skin looks so good. after all day (with a primer) my makeup has been looking better than the mac face and body that I was previosuly using did. I use the healthy skin one
I also recommend Loreal True Match, Revlon Color Stay and Bourjois Healthy Mix.
Currently I'm mixing Loreal with Bourjois (due to purchased wrong shade), but any of these above 3 are excellent on its own. I have normal/oily skin and prone to acne, but these foundation never breaks me out and they last all day.
Hi there! Try looking at Priceline or Chemist warehouse for affordable foundations. Try brands like maybelline, rimmel or revlon. If you talk to one of the beauty consultants a priceline, they'll give you advice on the foundation for the right shade for your skin tone and best match fro your complexion.
I recently bought this as I wanted a more matte finish to my makeup for special occasions. I apply this when I have finished applicating makeup to my face with 3-4 sprays about a arm length away.
The bright white listerine is an amazing product, I’m normally not a fan of listerine as I don’t like the taste, but I was actually a fan as the product is quite refreshing and it doesn’t leave a b
Estée Lauder Maximum Cover is one of those cult products for the die hard foundation fan! So much so, if I ever got wind this baby was being retired I’d buy a case!
