Foundation/ bb creams for summer??

I find it really hard to wear makeup during the summer time! Anyone know any good base makeup wether it’s a foundation, tinted moisturiser, bb cream etc. that holds up and doesn’t feel gross on the skin??

Nude by nature mineral powder on really hot days and L’Oréal Cest Magic on other days works well for my mature aged skin 50 +

NU SKIN’s advanced tinted moisturiser with sunscreen. I have been using it for two years now. I used to hate foundations as they dried up my skin and the lines on my face would be more obvious than not applying them, until I tried on NU SKIN’s. It is so light but gives your skin a natural glow with uniform color. It is free of talc, petroleum and mineral oil and contains anti-ageing ingrediencies such as vitamin A & E. It also contains sunscreen against UVA & UVB.

Laura mercier tinted moisturiser is awesome and IT cosmetics CC cream are great but they’re very pricey. I honestly sometimes use a medium to heavy duty concealer mixed with a light weight moisturiser and just rub it onto my skin and its all good

There’s a great BB cream you can get at Woolworths – the brand is MUD – it is a pretty good dupe for the IT cosmetics CC cream and at $7.50 on special, I’m loving it. Long-lasting and great coverage

Some great products to try out in this post – thankyou! The brand I used to use is no longer sold in Au so I will give some of these a go.

Mineral foundations either powder or liquid work best in hot weather. Look for matte textures in base and if you want glow add it strategically on top of your base.

MAC Studio Face and Body Foundation is meant to hold up well in warmer weather:

MAC Pro Longwear Nourishing Waterproof Foundation is another option. I haven’t tried this yet, but I assume that its coverage is heavier than the Face and Body Foundation:

Estée Lauder Double Wear Stay-In-Place Makeup has great staying power. I haven’t tried this in sweltering hot weather yet, but it might be worth you getting a sample of it. If you don’t like the foundation to look too heavy, apply it with a blending sponge:

You could try a setting spray to keep your foundation lasting longer. I’ve never tried one because most setting sprays contain alcohol which can dry out the skin, and my skin is already dry.

As mentioned earlier, MAC face and body is a great option. It feels really lightweight on the skin. It’s perfect for summer.
