Beauty Bay HELP?!

Hey guys! I just wanted to pop in and ask if beautybay is a reliable website? I’ve heard terrific reviews here, but when I searched reveiws online on autrustpilot and there are some who had never received their order?!
Should I try buying from this website and if I do, do I need to make sure that I choose the $15 option for tracked delivery? Should I choose that option?

    l. cosmo’s previous post is spam, which I’ve reported.

I agree with all the ladies who has posted. I’ve bought from Beauty Bay numerous times including an electrical good (curler) and I’ve had no issues but the shipping time is quite long – sometimes it takes over a month before I get it.

very good and reliable, I didn’t mind the long wait for postage as I expected it for a product coming from the US

Thanks for your advice! I’m not fussy and I really don’t need it any time soon, so I’ll just choose the free postage. Perhaps next time I’ll try the premier service, worth giving it a go! (:

I’ve purchased from Beauty Bay. I guess I’d order from them again. I would get my order tracked though. I have no idea why my order took 23 business days. Beauty Bay’s customer service were helpful once the 20 days had passed.

I’ve never paid for tracked postage so I’m not sure it’s worth the $15. I find my orders usually take anywhere between 2 and 4 weeks to arrive which is the only bugbear for me.
Keep in mind you might be waiting up to a month for your order.
I’ve never had a broken item or damaged packaging and items have been well wrapped. Not sure if it’s just the luck of the day.
I second Rose_Ps suggestion. Most times they are pretty competetive but then sometimes they’re not. Alpha H and Too Faced are two brands I’ve found you can get in Aus for similar or better prices on the right/wrong day depending on the exchange rate.

I recently made a purchase and used the free shipping and it took 1 month to arrive. I think they need to make it clear that orders usually will not arrive in the 7-10 days they advertise but this is what obviously gets more customers. I read reviews after I placed my order as I had no idea when or if my order would arrive and the feedback scared me. Some people claim items were missing or damaged or just never arrived. My itwms were perfect and I think I’d order again just because of how cheap some of the brands are. I’ve read reviews of people who do get the paid shipping and it still takes forever but I suppose its the safer option if something does happen to your parcel. I guess you just take your chances with BeautyBay but as long as you don’t need the items really soon I think it is worth it 🙂

I’ve bought from BeautyBay 4 times and my first 2 orders took 2 weeks to arrive in Melbourne after 1-2 days of processing time and this was with the premier service. I bought from them again once around November last year and in January this year on the regular service and free postage option and both times, it took a month for my parcels to arrive. I’ve never had a crushed parcel but be careful if you buy breakable things because there’s very little bubble wrap and protective cushion thingys inside each box. You might get a padded bag instead of a box if your items are small. I’ve been happy with the quality and genuineness of every product I’ve bought from them so far.
