Hey guys, I absolutely love Christmas and love to get into the spirit of things! I know lots of high end brands like Too Faced have Christmas palettes, but are there any more affordable options?
Makeup Revolution! :) I am not too sure on how quickly they deliver though.
Have you seen the Mecca Max palettes?
Ooo do they do christmas ones!
Yeah I'll send you some pics xx
So, these aren't specifically Christmas palettes, but Sportsgirl have released some summer themed palettes, and I am SO impressed with how pigmented the colours are. I got the watermelon one, and they also did a pink lemonade and a pineapple one, and they are only $14.99 each. I'm definitely going to grab the other two after how impressed I am with the one I got. I also really want their Allen's lollies eye shadow palette! Sooo cute!
The Allen's eye shadow palette sounds pretty cool Lizabella! I'll have to remember to check that out next time I'm visiting Sportsgirl. Thanks for letting us know about these palettes.
They sound great! I have Sportsgirl chocolate palette and it is gorgeous! Thanks for the tip xx

Yesterday, while my son was having wisdom surgery, I popped into an Aldi store and saw the Xmas makeup section . The packaging of the pallettes were very pretty for the Lacura brand which I heard was just as good as other brands. Maybe give those a try as definatly affordable.
You've got to love Aldi! Thank you so much I will have a look (:
I saw those eye shadow and brow palettes today at Aldi, HQ . They're very pretty and Lacura hasn't failed me yet. At $9.99 they're a bargain.
It sure is a bargain Onlyoni . I didn't buy makeup , but bought a ladies top and shorts for casual wear yesterday and quality is better than other brands I tried .
Ooooh I saw those palettes at Aldi today, they looked so pretty! I do have to agree, their clothing is good quality. I've bought a lot of workout gear there and they've been great
DB Cosmetics has Too Faced palette dupes! They're really affordable, plus you get free gifts with purchase, and $10 OFF + FREE SHIPPING on your first order on their website :)
Other brands that come to mind are Australis (who have 40% off sitewide and free shipping), Models Own and Ulta3 palettes.
I have a DB mascara it it is the best! I need to try their palettes! Thank you xx
Chi Chi cosmetics are pretty reasonable. I haven't tried their palettes though so I don't know what the colour payoff is like.
I was walking through Kmart today and out of the corner of my eye I think I saw new palettes, no idea how much or what they even really looked like but I'm sure they are cheap and cheerful.
The Sportsgirl palettes look so good! I bought the W7 naughty nines palettes in Midsummer nights and Arabian nights and they’re actually really nice, especially at $2.50 each. The packaging is compact and sturdy and they are great for chucking in my bag when I don’t want to worry about my more expensive palettes cracking. Normally would look askance at palettes THAT cheap but they are very similar to the MAC x9 and my friends have been eying them off so will be picking a few up as stocking stuffers for sure.
Well, you certainly have a lot of options already, Kate, but I'll add another one. The Australis Neutralize eye shadow palette is fantastic. I'm not sure of your price range but it's $24.95 at Priceline. Such a shame it's sold out on the Australis website because they currently have 40% off and free shipping.
Wow thanks for posting this question, I’m loving all the responses!
Hi Tania89! Welcome to the forums :)
I have very large pores and I am always looking for pore fillers/primers. After seeing many recommendations on YouTube I decided to give this a try and I'm not overly excited.
I chose the shade Taupe as it's a great cool toned light brown and matches my natural brows perfectly. It comes in a glass jar, screw top lid and made in Italy.
I am a pale neutral skin tone and find it hard to get a pale bronzer that doesn't have a stark orange, red or pink undertone as I find these just don't work for me.
