Sick of drawing my eyebrows

I have Alopecia, only affects my brows, hair does not grow at all on my eyebrows. Many years ago I made the mistake of tattooing my eyebrows, worst mistake of my life, they have since faded since to a very light grey, have a bad story about laser on brows so don’t want to go there at all, but every day is a pain as I have to pencil my brows in every day, and every few hours as work as a fitness instructor and sweat a lot, I have tried so many different eyebrow pencil, one that actually lasts the whole day. Would like to know if any of you beauties know of a product (pencil) that lasts all day, I have tried waterproof ones which fail also.

Hey Animal Lover, you might want to check out this forum started up by Harmony Queen. Specifically, Feliciabardan shared a method for a brow and lashes serum which is meant to be good for those suffering from Alopecia. I thought you might be interested, even though you can’t grow your brows:

Perhaps there are others you might be able to share this with.

Anastasia Beverly Hills’ Brow Wiz and Brow Pomade, generally all the ABH products are quite long-lasting. The brow pomade is truly water-proof, smudge-proof and sweat-proof, I tried to wash it away with water the other day and it wouldn’t budge. The brow wiz (mechanical pencil) isn’t as long-lasting as the brow pomade but it endures much longer than other pencils. You can purchase these products at Sephora but it’s much more expensive, I recommend net-a-porter (shopping site), shipping is 2-3 days and the products match American prices, the pomade is actually less than the usual price. I also hear that the etude house drawing eye brow pencil is also very long-lasting according to makeupally, and it’s cheaper than the Brow Wiz. Good luck! (:

I know it doesn’t answer your question about eyebrow products. But have you tried castor oil to grow back your eyebrows? I use it on my brows and lashes and they have grown very thick. I also know another Alopecia sufferer who uses it and their eyebrows have started to grow back. You can buy it cheaply from Chemist Warehouse. Just apply it everyday, within a month you should notice a difference 🙂
