Red, flushed skin after being outside

So someone has probably made this post, but I wasn’t sure what to search for.
In winter, after I have been in outside and then come back inside, my face gets incredibly flushed for hours afterward. I have no idea what to do about it, I’ve tried moisturiser but it doesn’t help.

It does sound like rosacea. A doctor can help.

I think it is quite common. I believe it has to do with the temperature change. People who have issues with flushing, rosecea, etc. are more likely to have issues. I’m not sure there is a way to fix it. Although I was chatting to my dermotologist the other day and we were talking about redness/flushing (mine is worse in winter and after retinol use) and the treatment she has used for this condition is a specific type of laser. There are many lasers avaiable and I’m not sure which one is required as I personally wouldn’t do laser for this type of condition (even though it is annoying!)

It is annoying, and sometimes it brings on a breakout. I agree though, don`t know if I`d go through with laser treatment for it either 🙂

I’ve never heard of such a thing, but I just Googled “winter skin redness” & there are quite a few hits.
