How to work out with a baby?

Happy Friday beauties!

I have a question for bh members who are also mummies! Do you have any advice or tips for new mums on how to manage exercise with a baby? Special classes for mums, workouts involving the baby, core/strengthening/kegel exercises, having realistic expectations, etc?

I’m hoping to write a feature about this but as a non-mum I don’t have a lot of expertise on the subject, so I thought I’d reach out 🙂 I’d love to include some of your tips for mums who want to stay healthy and get back into health and fitness in a manageable way, post-birth.

Look forward to hearing from you beauties xx

It can be really difficult, but there are a lot of exercises that you can do with your baby. Of course, you can not have time for a gym, so I just have to find time to work out at home. In this article https://betterme.world/articles/fitness/fitness-tips/ I found many workouts that are fast and easy to go at home.

Hello! It’s complicated, but it’s possible. With my younger son, I really couldn’t exercise, so I replaced it with long walks and small warm-up during the day. It’s not so much about your shape as it is about your health.

walking would be a good idea, also there are home workouts on Youtube. Yoga would be a great idea too

My first thought was, “get a second baby and lift them at the same time.”

For what it’s worth, I’d say that having a baby is exhausting enough that you don’t need to put the extra pressure on yourself to work out in any official way. Pram walking is one of the best thing you can do. Of course, if you enjoy more intense exercise, go for it, but don’t put any more pressure on yourself than you need. You’re raising a human – and if it’s that you are worried about getting back to a certain weight or body shape, that doesn’t need to be important until you have a bit more time, energy and sleep under your belt. Little, achievable bits where you can will add up. Walks, bodyweight exercises at home, and all of the billions of online classes now 🙂

I usually do yoga and Zumba in our home and I never had any problem with my baby watching me do those exercises because he’s entertained on what I do. 🙂

Yes don’t click on any blue links especially from members who include a blue link in their VERY FIRST POST – they aren’t here to be part of the BH family, just spam their own site, no hello’s or I am new, just a random post with a blue link, it’s not friendly etiquette in my opinion
