I found a HUGE difference when I took and ibuprofen over paracetamol and discovered it was because of the anti-inflammatory properties that really numb the pain of a hangover – how many times have you woken up feeling swollen and gross after drinks.

Anything else with anti-inflammatory properties is amazing, starting with a glass of water, and yes, maybe that green juice! Plus Hydralight in the morning (and a Berocca at night if you can).

Lining your stomach helps, the greasier the better to soak up the acid from the breakdown of the drinks. Following, a strong cup of coffee, a cold shower, and some fresh air helps to get you back on track 🙂 🙂

Drink as much water as possible before bed and when you wake up. In terms of hangover food, this is going to sound random, but I once ate a hashbrown in a bread roll with butter and it made me feel so so much better the next day!

2L of water and a berocca before bed.
More water in the morning, a swim in the ocean and a greasy breakfast.

Oh! Or a Bloody Mary! …though maybe that just eases you into the “oh god I want to die” stage a bit more gently…

Water in between drinks, some decent food and drink a couple more glasses of water before bed!

Taking electrolytes before you go to bed can definitely help rehydrate, and a bottle of bed by your beside too.
