Dove Original Aerosol Deodorant

I tend to look at the ingredients to make sure that none of these 7 harmful ingredients http://organics.org/7-harmful-ingredients-in-your-deodorant/ are in the product I intend using.

I’m afraid that when Dove discontinued the aerosol Go Fresh Nectarine and White Ginger scent they lost a customer. I’m really sensitive to scents and this was one of the only deodorants I’ve found that I can not only tolerate but actually loved, sadly none of their other scents come close to making the grade so I’m back on the extremely frustrating and occasionally migraine-inducing deodorant search once more.

Bad Dove 🙁

I love this deodorant, love the smell and it really works and neutralises ths smell, only thing that bugs me a bit is that it can leave white stains on skin/clothes but it’s definitely something I can live with 🙂

I found this product was great for everyday use – but I didn’t feel that it protected me when I was working out. I also agree with others about the fumes aggravating the senses – I felt that the spray was very strong, and could only apply outdoors or in the bathroom with the fan on.

Other than that, overall, it was a good product. It really did keep my underarms moisturized – just a shame that it couldn’t last through my workout.

I must say I dont rate it that strongly. The fumes were a bit much for me and the can kept spraying long after id stopped holding the button down. Probably a dodgy can but disappointing.

But it worked really well at keeping me dry considering I have over-active sweat glands

I really liked this product mainly because I’m not a huge huge sweater, but I totally did feel that you gotta be a bit careful working with this product because of the white transfer onto clothes 🙁

The fumes are definitely a bit much. It doesn’t help that I really don’t like the Dove scent at all. I also had the problem with white marks/ fake snow covering everything. However I did not have any problems with the effectiveness of the deodorant. Even on super hot (40+ degrees) days I had no problems with sweating or smelling. So I continue to use the product even with the unfavourable scent and white snow issues.

I usually use roll on, but I have to admit the dove deodorant keeps me feeling and smelling fresh for a while. The only thing is the fumes. Like everyone else, it is so strong when you first spray it, that I have to have a window open at all times. Not sure how great it is for my lungs.

I didn’t like this product. It’s not effective when it’s really hot weather and I got white marks everywhere! The scent was strong and clashed with my perfume. I wouldn’t purchase.

I like the scent but have to be very careful to not spray too close or longer otherwise you end up sticky and white armpits.
