Trying For A Baby

Hi all 🙂 I hope there isn’t a thread about this already – I did look but didn’t find one.
I am just wondering if anyone here is trying to conceive? My husband and I have only just started trying to have a baby so I would love to hear your thoughts or experiences when trying to fall pregnant 🙂
I recently started taking a pre-conception pill & capsule made by Blackmores, it is called Conceive Well Gold. My pharmacist told me that this product is pretty much the same as Elevit and it was cheaper so I opted for this one.
I have a seven year old daughter but the pregnancy completely took me by surprise, it wasn’t planned at all so this time around is quite different. Apart from eating well, staying active and taking supplements, I have been told there isn’t much more I can do to prepare my body for pregnancy so if anyone has any pointers or tips on how to make it happen, please let me know 🙂

Hey! I found some more useful information regarding the relationship between fertility and longevity:
“Decreased fertility was associated with increased longevity in all three cohorts. A 10-year increase in age at last birth resulted in a decreased hazard ratio for postreproductive mortality of 20% –35%. Interestingly, age at first birth did not significantly affect longevity.””””

By the way, on this site you can also ask any questions to experts in the field of female fertility, which they will be happy to answer!
