Treating a UTI without anti-biotics
Hi all. I am sure that at some point, some of you would have experienced a urinary tract infection – not pleasant and very, very inconvenient LOL.
I have had two in the past 3 years and last week I unfortunately suffered another UTI. With my other two cases, I went to my doctor and he prescribed anti-biotics which did work, however my UTI was not completely gone for at least 5-6 days in both cases.
This time around I decided to treat it without anti-biotics. I have heard that cranberry juice, cranberry tablets (capsules) and tons of water can treat UTI’s just as effectively as anti-biotics and that advice was spot on! In 2 days, it was completely gone and all I had was 2L of cranberry juice, 8 cranberry capsules and an endless amount of water. I also avoided alcohol and caffeine products.
Just putting this up in case anyone else suffers from UTI’s and is tired of needing anti-biotics for it. PLEASE be aware though that if your symptoms persist for more than 48 hours after natural treatment, you should see your dr (says that on the cranberry supplement bottle).
