Best Womens Mountain Bike

IMHO, Giant bikes aren’t what they used to be. I had a Merida Juliet and I was really happy with it, but unfortunately it was stolen from a caravan park in WA. It was chained to the drawbar of our caravan, and the b@$t@rd$ cut through TWO chains. It was really comfortable to ride. I was devastated when it went. I replaced it with a Specialised Myka, and I love it even more than my Merida. I did look at a Giant, but the components on the Specialised were better, and I just liked the look of it. When buying bikes, you really do get what you pay for. Make sure you go to a specialty bike shop, and ask them to measure you to get the correct size.

I think the best bike that I have ever had was a cruiser. Depending on what you want to do. I think you need to get out and find which bike is the best. everyone will say that they have the best women bikes.

I found Norco was the best for me because it was excellent quality and I found a guy clearing out his store who sold me a half price Fluid 2. It was dual suspension though, so I didn’t have a similar price range to you. My reccomendation of the two you have is the giant.Mostly for looks lol, I found Meridas to be more square in the tubes they use for the frames.

To follow up, I’ve come down to two bikes

GIANT Talon 2 or
MERIDA MATTS 40-D

I’ll update on my decision.
