Kester Black Lovers!

I adore this brand! I have five of their colours plus their cuticle oil and remover. I have found that their consistency is very different from other brands and have had to work out a different technique for applying them. It’s working with four but one, Nude, is still giving me problems. I just can’t get a smooth application. I’m not sure if this is me or if I need to get some of their polish thinner.
Is anybody else using Nude and is it giving you trouble?

Ooh, I’d not heard of this brand. Will have to check them out; Australian, natural, and cruelty-free are definitely an appealing combo.

It seems that Marie D. Reed might be a spammer because he/she has posted spam on another thread with a suspicious blue link.

Just to back things up, I have many Kester Black polishes in my collection & they’re one of my favourite polish brands. Adore the wide brush & their polishes seem to last a really long time on my nails. I know they’re not cheap but they do have a sale at least once a year (usually in June), so stalk them if you can.

My favourite shades from them are Terrarium (which has been discontinued – it’s a bright turquoise/aqua) & Sorbet (berry pink). I’ve probably got more faves (I like Rouge, Cherry Pie & the 2 glitters Comet & Dasher as well), but I’m very slowly making my way through my KB stash. Currently sporting Pulp Fiction (pink-based red) on my toes.

Kester Black is a genuine Aussie natural cruelty-free nail polish brand. I used to do work for them at a previous firm. The woman behind it is lovely and down to earth. I would definitely recommend their nail polishes!

Marie D. Reed‘s post is spam which I’ve reported. BH members: please do not click on the blue link in the post.

Petal, Marie’s about me info states that she’s a nail tech so I think she’s a genuine new member.

Marie D. Reed`s profile further below says that her name is Leila. I`m slightly confused. Anyway, Kester Black have received some exposure about their products!

Oh wow that is confusing! A lot of names… they certainly have received some exposure, but on the upside at least it’s an Aussie brand?

Hate to tell you Petal, but that is the actual website link for Kester Black.

It is unusual to see spam here for an Australian company, but it has occurred in the past (most spam is for overseas companies). The post might be genuine. I started searching to see if this person has spammed other threads, but I gave up.

For those that are unaware, Kester Black is an Australian company that make lovely nail polishes.

I haven’t tried Kester Black, but I’d really like to. It’s one of those brands though that are boutique but their colours aren’t that much different from budget brands like ulta3? And my favourite indies like Emily de Molly have a much more wider colour range and are cheaper, too.
