Flaky Nails after SNS

After having SNS nails for months, I want to leave my nails natural in future and get them back to healthy again.
I’ve always had soft nails, hence the SNS, but now that it is all removed, they continually peel and flake from the tip and they are worse than ever. They won’t grow because I keep having to file them and cut them really short. Can anyone advise me what would be the very best treatment please, to strengthen them. Thanks for advice. P x

Four days later and I can already see a huge difference in my nails…. I have been using OPI nail spa and Esse Cuticle Oil…. one of these about 4 or 5 times a day. No nail polish treatments. They don’t look flaky any more…. can’t wait for them to grow!
    Huge improvement!

Thanks again Lisa359…… Lisa 10 out of 10!

They are probably dry, you can buy a nail oil, Revitanail make a good one, or you could use any other oil, even olive oil from your kitchen if you don’t want to buy something specific. Rubbing it in at night will give it time to sink in.

I alternate with a few days of oil then use a clear nail polish to protect my nails for a few days before removing it and using oil again, if you want to buy something specific then Sally Hanson 7 in 1 nail treatment is good. If they are naturally ‘weak’ then a Hair, Skin and Nails vitamin supplement will help.
