Cold hands in winter

Are anyone else’s hands just always cold all the time and how do you deal with it? My hands are ALWAYS cold and they get cold very easily. My fingers tend to swell up as well and get really red and itchy which happens every winter. It’s the worst. I just want to know that I’m not the only one who’s always cold, so please share if you also hate having cold hands in winter 🙂

Well for my case, how i end up having really cold hands is a result of my sweaty palms. If i stay in a cold room or environment for a long period of time, the sweat glands on my palm will start to turn cold which results my hands became a instant cooling “device”.

There’s heat packs being sold in Daiso too. if u dont want to wear gloves, u can try using that as a temporary solution..

Always, I’ve lost circulation in my fingers before too!. I have a paid of fingerless gloves that also double up as mittens. Absolute life saver!

OMG yes!! Always! I also wear stockings or tights under my pants. And I use the “hot hands” they are brilliant! Didn’t find the toe warmers worked for me others swear by them which help warm your whole body but I found the hot hands awesome.

Thanks for all your help. I’ll check out daiso and reject shop when I have time. Eskimo82, that’s interesting about the hand cream. I always forget to use hand cream and I have so many lying around at home.

I’ve used the reusable ones like those at reject shop and also hot hands which I found were OK but they were too small and didn’t give off enough heat for my super cold hands. You feel heat from them but it just dissapates, especially if you’re out and about. I used to put them inside my fleece gloves for extra warmth. A weird thing I find that makes the cold a little more bearable is putting on hand cream regularly. I find with the cold my hands dry up and feel way worse as opposed to when they are moisturised. Not sure if the cream creates a barrieror if it is just the action of rubbing the cream on that helps to warm them up.

I remember seeing an ad for hot hands on TV recently but forgot about it till now. I would defs give them a go. How long do they last and is it similar across different brands?

I get cold hands too! I’ve found heat packs to be really useful. Daiso has got some if you’re interested. They’re convenient to carry around and are just the right size for your hands.
