Microdermabrasion

I’m 23 and have quite good skin – some dark marks and brown spots but nothing overly concerning. I have been given a voucher from a friend for two sessions of microdermabrasion who is going overseas. Just wondering if anybody has had these treatments before and what their results were like? Am I too young to have this procedure? I do find my skin is a little dull so I was thinking it might help that? Any feedback would be fab 🙂

I’ve tied microdermabrasion and it was ok. Was a bit painful but bearable. From experience, my preference is to go for a chemical peel instead. Great results and effective.

Has anyone tried the ELLE BACHE microdermabrasion facial. My local shopping centre just got an elle bache salon so I am interested in trying that .I think it costs 100 dollars for one session.
How much does other microdermabrasion session cost?
For anyone living in newcastle area please if you can suggest other places that offer microdermabrasion

Theyre usually around $100 at the higher end salons. However, you can find some good deals on Scoopon or those sites. I would just recommend looking at the salons wbsite first just to make sure theyre genuine

    Microdermabrason is my favouritebeauty treat.
It makes my skin feel silky smooth, I believe it helps with skincare efficacy and I am addicted.

I’m 40 and recently had my first one. I’m now trying to arrange my next RDO so I can book in for another 🙂 like sassy lily said, your skin feels so smooth afterwards. I wish I had started getting them about 10 years ago.

I had a series of 6 when i was about 24 (roughly 3 yrs ago now) and it was the best thing I ever did. My skin looked fantastic. I had no major skin concerns, I just did it for the sake of it….ahhh memories of not having a mortgage haha

Your skin feels so plumped up afterwards and you can really notice when you put on makeup how clear your skin is.

it feels like a sucking sensation while they do, it isnt uncomfortable at all. Your skin can feel a tiny bit sensitive that night but nothing major at all.

Try and do it 4 weeks apart for the best results!

let us know how you go!

I’ve been to 2 dermabrasions in a series of 4 recently and think it’s been worthwhile. I am double your age, but I think for any age, it’s really good at the deep exfoliating & really giving your skin a glow.

It’s a weird sensation when it’s being done ie it feels like your face is being vacumned a bit, and it is a little uncomfortable, but quite tolerable. After the procedure both times I’ve found my skin to feel revitalized & more alive looking.
