Scalp problem

Hi there everyone. I have developed some itchy lumps on my scalp. I have been using my usual Sukin shampoo, and Natural Instincts conditioner, so am at a loss as to what is causing it. Thinking that maybe I am showering and shampooing in water that is too hot ? (Cold weather means hot showers for me. .he he.) Any suggestions (no I won’t have a cold shower !)

First step is to ask your Hairdresser. That is their Profession.
If you can’t get a solution visit your GP or go to a Dermatologist.

Gwenythm, many people seem to just look for external causes for irritated skin. However, irritation often occurs from something within the body, and the causes can be hard to identify. I have a history of complex health issues and they often cause various forms of skin irritation. I have tried a very long list of botanical products – some work well for some types of irritation, and aren’t so effective with other types of irritation. MooGoo’s Scalp Cream is a great product to start with. MooGoo also has a shampoo and conditioner for scalp conditions:

If the irritation doesn’t resolve on its own and it continues to cause you concern, you may want to see a health practitioner. I’d see a holistic doctor, naturopath etc, but you may want to see someone that takes a conservative approach.

Many thanks, Petal. I think I will try Moo Goo, as it certainly seems the popular choice. Will keep your other advice in mind too. xx

Not sure about the cause Gwenythm, but try MooGoo Scalp Cream to help mend things. Someone on here recommended it to me many years ago and I have been a convert ever since.
