Omg. Hair really loves this stuff. Wowz.
So. My hair is long (buttocks cover, needs cut), heaps of it, super fine (soft fluff). Soaks up heaps of product. Needs hours of drying time. At home highlighted/bayalaged with boxed lightener, therefore damaged.
Now, biggest issue with haircare would be not being able to brush hair after washing when wet. Those processed bits. Some haircare would make it crunchy and dredlocked.
So, washed and scrubbed head with this scrubby “shampoo”. Left a bit as I enjoy minty things (see pictured in my shower: Hunter minty face stick cleanser ‘love’ , minty body wash, minty toothpaste obviously…) to invigorate in the mornings. This scrub is very gentle to me, mintiness does not tingle as much as something else I used in past. Just tiny bit tiiiny cooling/tingle. Tiiiny. Scent very faint too. Gone after rinsing.
I used scrub like I would apply shampoo on my scalp in places: top of head, under back of the head, sides of my face to back. Rub/scrub/rub…foam a bit…scrub/massage-in/rub…leave in a minute…have a shower dance (trap playing still)…rinse. Oh, hair left so soft, soooft.
Then applied mask. Now pouch is tiny 50mL. Stretched to use 2 times (hope will have enough for 2nd application, my fur ate the stuff). Conditioner consistency. Smell is very light and clean, soft feminine powdery. Gone after washing. This stuff has no silicones. And man. Conditions superbly! I brushed hair wet after towel drying with such an ease, insane! Hair sooooooft. Love the feel of my hair after using these. Naturally clean, not stripped, body there, shiny etc. Just fab.
Hair after air drying: Volume Galore! Soft…looks so big!
Hm…getting into the dry powder shampoo too. I use it as a hair texturizer/dry shampoo, hair starch haha. When hair goes greasy and limp I give it ooomph with the dry shampoo. Best part: no scent left so wearing fragrance in my hair and body is cool again. And does not leave dusty finish to my hair, but naturally hair is still shiny.
I would do this every few shampoos. Like scrubbing face, scrubbing scalp should not be done too often me thinks. I do use shampoos that clean well without striping (micellar, no silicones…so no residue on scalp and hair root area), so my scalp is never clogged.
