GHD straightner brush

Hi, just wondering if anyone has been lucky enough to try the new GHD straightener brush? How did you like it and would you recommend them?

Hi, Gemma, I will keep that in mind. I want the process of straightening my hair to be as fast as possible. You mentioned Cloud9 wides, is it any good?

The Cloud9 Wide iron is great if you have curly hair you want to straighten or you have a lot of hair. They can be a bit clumsy for doing fine things like fringes, but overall I like mine. Are they better than GHD? The result are much the same, but they seem to last longer and you can get the plates replaced and you can’t do that with a lot of new irons.

Soooooo I got one! Is it a replacement for a good pair of straightners? No. But it is excellent for day two touch ups and amazing if you are in a hurry! Super fast to use and for me at least the results are 80-90% as good as my cloud9 wides, without the hassle of sectioning and taking ages. Teamed up with a good pair of travel straightners (for a final run over and getting the ends perfect) and it would be a winning combo, and less heat exposure that with a flat iron alone (because its faster).

Haven’t got/ used the GHD straightening brush but did buy a cheaper ebay hair straightening brush for my mum a few years ago, she still has it and loves it. Apparently they are much quicker & easier than hair straighteners.

Great to know that even the basic models work well, this is promising.

        Hi GemmaWatson,

I`ve been eyeing the GHD brush for a year now and I`m actually planning to get it on my birthday, it is one of these products that I`m very interested to try. I heard so many positive reviews, especially for women who use straighteners and this brush makes the experience much easier.

I have found it much faster! And a lot easier. The results aren’t quite as good, especially with the ends, but overall Im really happy with it. Teaming it up with straighteners to do the ends and details works really well and is much faster than straighteners alone.

I’ve got a Dafni, which is more or less the same. I couldn’t be without it. I use it more than my straightener. It’s so quick and easy to use.

I tried it and I think it’s worth it. It a great tool to fight against everyday frizz.
