Dyson Air wrap

Just saw an Instagram post about a new hair product released by Dyson.
It looks like a curling/Styling tool.

OMG I would love to test it and review it. I wish there was a trial team for it …Wishes I know.

What do you think guys?

When I saw the Airwrap in person I was sold.

I justified its price knowing x3 family members would be using it.

It’s light weight, dries hair fast, it is non damaging to hair, easy to use & works well on fine short hair, fine long hair (great for adding volume) & thick, wavy long hair (great to remove some waves/curls) types.

We have had it now for 7 months & overall I’m still impressed with the product. My only criticism would be the plastic casing is easily scratched by the plug. We generally use the brushes & only occasionally the conical barrel.

I watched Tati Westbrook’s review of this on YouTube and have become wary of it, LOL.

After seeing Tati review this, I’m giving it a hard pass!

It looks amazing and expensive. I hope some cheaper brands can make something similar in the next few years.

My hair is straight and sometimes it gets a bit boring! Would love to curl my hair more often but everything’s too expensive! Any suggestions for cheap curlers?

I have put a request from the hubby for this as my Christmas present (I love Dyson) – hopefully if anyone hears of a sale like the Qantas store they will post it to this thread (following)

So, hubby says to me “have you seen that new Dyson thing?”. I assured him I had and that everyone was talking about it. “Why don’t you get one? It’s not that expensive if you think about what it does.”

So I had to explain that I don’t really need one because I have a Parlux hairdryer that still works just fine; I have a hair straightener to straighten my hair because I don’t want waves or curls; and my hair is rather short so that giant sized barrel just wouldn’t work in my hair.

I never thought I’d have to turn down an offer like that. .

I noticed yesterday that David Jones in Sydney had a pop-up stand with people demo-ing the Dyson Air Wrap on people, on the ground floor. I would’ve joined the line to give it a go, but by the time I decided to do it the queue was a mile long. Note to self: always jump in a line when there’s not a lot of people around!

Very expensive like all Dyson products, looks quite bulky and cumbersome as well and the results don’t look worth the $700 price tag to me.
