Just saw an Instagram post about a new hair product released by Dyson.
It looks like a curling/Styling tool.
OMG I would love to test it and review it. I wish there was a trial team for it ...Wishes I know.
What do you think guys?
This is the new product.
Ooh it sounds interesting!! An air drying hair curler, it could be really good =)
I was wondering the same! I would love to give it a go. It is too expensive to test by purchasing and then realising it didn’t work as per th video
Will be a dream if we were given this as a trial.
Dyson conducts its own trial teams. I've applied before and did not get in, or I assume so since I have not been notified by their deadline by which they said they would send out the products. It did involve writing a little essay about my favourite tech product. My sister applied for the same trial and was asked different questions to me, obviously geared towards hair products and I suspect now it was for the Air Wrap. She wasn't asked to write an essay.
where do we apply for such trial teams ?
I saw the one I applied for on Ozbargain but the application opening times appear to be random. I wouldn't know when the next one is.
I saw that product release info. The air wrap looks amazing. I hope the ladies at BH are able to trial and write a review or video for us.
I mean... I would love someone to buy it for me haha. I'm sure it will be pretty expensive. I have so much trouble with curling my hair. It's naturally wavy/thick but not in the way I want, so if I want curls or waves I have to straighten it then curl it. So much effort!
There's some more info etc about it on Canadian blog Beautygeeks, if anyone's interested. Just judging by the US/Canada prices, methinks it'll be as expensive as the hair dryer is here in Oz:
Thanks! Looking at the videos, it might be a worthwhile investment
Super interesting product, would make it easy to curl hair on wash days!
I think it is around the $700 mark. Love that it comes with a hairdryer attachment too so you don't need to buy the separate hairdryer if you buy this.
I have been wanting to buy the hairdryer for ages and was waiting for the right moment.
I might have to splurge one day.
Just a thought. Dyson is on the Qantas store if people have points.
Dyson is also one of the brands that frequently have 25% off with points too.
I almost brought the hairdryer via the last promo reg 87,000 points, but was on promo for around 65,000.
The only reason I didn’t get it is that I have a parlux which I think is pretty good hairdryer and most of the people I know who have the Dyson had replaced very old/cheap hairdryers with it.
Also these people are interstate, so popping in for a play not feasible haha
My point was maybe air wrap will make it on the store soon!
Thankyou PP . I always love to hear about tips and bargains like these. If I want something I always look out for deals and I hate to pay Full price. You know get my dollars working more for me kind of thing. I don't have Qantas points but I will definitely be looking out for a sale or a discount before I buy the Air wrap.
You are also right about the hairdryer. As I have a new hairdryer I don't really need to replace it but the Air wrap looks like it is multi-functional and I could achieve lots of hair styles with it .
Now THAT could have been a good use of my now expired frequent flyer points!!!
Yeah it looks amazing! I would love to try it to! Gosh hefty price though?!!
Love this review written by Bh' s Kate.
Can you tell I am sold on this machine already LOL.
Lol but remember ladies Christmas is coming! =) maybe with a few hint hints here & there, you never know! ♡
Hahaha agreed. I already sent a link to my Dad
Very expensive like all Dyson products, looks quite bulky and cumbersome as well and the results don't look worth the $700 price tag to me.
I noticed yesterday that David Jones in Sydney had a pop-up stand with people demo-ing the Dyson Air Wrap on people, on the ground floor. I would've joined the line to give it a go, but by the time I decided to do it the queue was a mile long. Note to self: always jump in a line when there's not a lot of people around!
I need to watch some youtube review about this.
So, hubby says to me "have you seen that new Dyson thing?". I assured him I had and that everyone was talking about it. "Why don't you get one? It's not that expensive if you think about what it does."
So I had to explain that I don't really need one because I have a Parlux hairdryer that still works just fine; I have a hair straightener to straighten my hair because I don't want waves or curls; and my hair is rather short so that giant sized barrel just wouldn't work in my hair.
I never thought I'd have to turn down an offer like that. .
This was another surprise I got in my online DB order, and as someone who doesn't wear cream blushes, I was a bit taken aback. I wasn't really sure how to approach it.
I never was much of a lipstick person, but, recently, I've become a bit of a lipstick fiend (they just multiplied, I don't know what happened).
I don't do much eyeliner, if anything, I normally tightline my eyes, but that's about it, nothing on the lid. This Kohl Eye Pencil was a freebie for me, so I decided to give it a try.
I love this time of year and would love to hear what everyone's Christmas traditions, favourite recipes…
