Do you have a winter hair problem?

Hi beauties,

As the temperature drops and we move closer to winter, I’m wondering whether you have any hair problems specific to the colder months?

For example, my ends get super dry (and frizzy) thanks to the cold. Or maybe your hair gets knotty from wearing turtle neck jumpers, beanies and scarves.

If you have any similar problems, comment below and we’ll try get an expert to answer them!

Ive got crurly/wavy hair, oily roots and much drier end in winter, the wind makes it frizzy, the cold makes it brittle, and ive got to make sure i dont wet my hair too much in the morning because ofcourse I’ll just get cold lol.
my roots usually stay the same but I tend to get a tad more dandruffish in winter, even my face and eyebrows can get very dry skin. Im trying to stay more on top of it this winter with moisturisers and oils!

Also beanies have the same problem, but it’s spring now so don’t have to worry about it!

I like the leave in conditioner from alchemy. It’s not too heavy and leaves my hair feeling strong, healthy, revived and protected without weighing it down.

Hey, Caitlin, thanks for discussing hair problems which occur in winters. Caring for hair in winter time is always of major concern for many ladies. My hair gets very dry and frizzy in winter and I keep switching different shampoos and conditioner to get rid of this. If anyone has the solution please help me.

No. I don’t use a hairdryer so maybe in winter it takes longer for my hair to dry.

I’ve gotten into the routine of using a hair mask for at least 20 minutes every saturday morning. I also use hair oil after my hair dries up. It’s made such a big difference.
