Conditioner THEN Shampoo: what are your thought?

Hello!

I was wondering if anyone has been changing up their hair washing routine by conditioning first then shampoo?
I have done this and noticed that my hair feels lighter and is easier to style but would love to heard from you all your thoughts.

Thank you heaps 🙂

I ordered the new TRESemmĂ© Beauty-Full Volume Shampoo & Conditioner on the recent beautorium. That’s the one which you use the conditioner first, then the shampoo. After one use, my hair definitely had more volume! It air-dried all poufy (in a good way), but also a little frizz, which doesn’t bother me. By day 2 the frizz has gone, but so has some of the extra body.

My oily hair is starting to feel a little oily, but it usually does that when I use anything other than a clear, deep cleansing shampoo. I can’t speak of long-term use, so I’m not ready to post my product reviews yet. I might even try using the conditioner followed by my usual TRESemmĂ© deep cleansing shampoo to see how I go.

There is one brand which has developed a conditioner than shampoo routine with intent and special ingredients but really they really have the same purpose, clean and then hydrate. I’d rather stick with my current hair routine.

I feel the need to shampoo first to cleanse my scalp and then finish with conditioner to seal the hair shaft, making the overall result smoother, less knotted shinier hair.

No way! With my hair being dry no way! Sometimes I will not shampoo but I will condition due to the fact I have dry thick wavy hair shampoo dries hair out! plus it goes against all hair rules
Shampoo opens the hair cuticle if it is not closed with conditioner its left open for gosh knows what to kill it resulting in a bigger hair chop

But that’s my opinion and we may have different hair types
