Can you recommend a good purple shampoo for blonde hair

I have ash blonde hair and am looking for a new purple shampoo. Can anyone recommend one?
Have used Delorenzo before but it was quite drying.
Am using a Schwarszkopft one at the moment. I probably should use it more often than I do. Will run out of this soon and am looking for something different to try.

Hi Hayley I use A Touch of Silver and it works a treat.

I’ve reported Delilah‘s previous post on the “SERIAL SPAM MEMBER ON BH” thread. Do not click on the blue link.

Hi Hayley, I have the Milkshake “Silver Shine” on rotation at the moment. I have changed hairdressers recently and have tried a couple of different salons, but they have all recommended this one. I think all purple shampoos are drying to the hair to some degree, but this one is a good one. It is very pigmented, but has never left coloured deposits in my hair. I find it doesn’t dry my hair out, but I always follow it with a good conditioner. It will leave purple deposits on any dry areas of your hands, but they do come off. Good luck 🙂

When I had blonde hair I always used Davroe shampoo and conditioner which worked well on brassy tones and was gentle on my hair. No nasties in this product either.

You can buy Provoke Touch of Silver Shampoo and Conditioner it is for Blonde, Silver Grey and Platinum Blonde it keeps the brassy tones at bay. It isn’t too expensive at all. Coles Supermarket sells them.

All of the blonde shampoos that I have tried I have been recommended by my hairdresser and I honestly love them all.

Fanola, NAK and RPR are the brands that my purple shampoos are from, would recommend them for sure!

Oz Hair and Beauty (online) often has some pretty good deals for higher end haircare brands so I normally buy them there or on Adore Beauty (also online), or through my hairdresser of course haha. Hope this helps!

Hi there, if you were looking for a cheap drug store one that is effective I would recommend L’Oréal purple shampoo and mask I use this one and it gets rid of all the nasty yellow tones within 1 week.

Hi Hayley644. I would definitely recommend Fanola No Yellow vegan. It is a great toning purple shampoo that you don’t need to go hairdressers for awhile. I buy it online at http://www.amr.com.au

    Hope that helps!
