Tom Ford – Black Orchid – Priceline??

A few days ago, I was in Priceline and saw a bottle of Black Orchid (50ml) for $99.00, which is about $60 cheaper than in Myer/David Jones. Has anyone else seen this/bought this? Is this authentic TF, or perhaps old stock from another store? I love this perfume, and although it is still very expensive at that price, I would consider buying it at that price if it is the real deal. Any thoughts?

I’ve purchased from Priceline & Chemis twarehouse and other places some dear perfumes some not so dear. I was told it all depends on there turn over and how long there in store and on display for. Keep perfumes away from heat & high temp, store in dark cupboards Will help keep there fragrances and colour. If you are like me some bottles should be on display. My latest fragrances is Opium wild .
    Black Orchid smell Devine.

I’ve never had any issues with the perfumes that I’ve purchased from Priceline or Chemist Warehouse. And I own over 30 bottles of perfume. Some, very expensive brands from David Jones & Myer and the cheaper ones while aren’t as high quality, work well just the same. I use the cheaper perfumes for sort of ‘eberyday’ Wear.

I have never had a problem with price line fragrances and they are always behind glass door.

It really depends on whether it’s in a locked glass cabinet or not. I agree with another comment that some are bought from the “grey market,” but there are also some genuine perfumes sold, but they are generally behind locked glass doors.

I don’t believe the products at Pharmacies/Chemists such as Priceline and Chemist Warehouse are authentic.
They are not always authorised seller’s of the higher end brands that you usually only find in department stores (Myer and David Jones)
Except if it is a Pharmacy that has makeup counters such as Estee Lauder, Chanel, Clinique, Lancome etc. they will also generally have a sign confirming that they are an authorised seller for that company.
