Perfumes I wish they’d bring back………..

Hi all,

I used to love Meadowsong by Goya, but I think this brand no longer exists? It was a lovely summery perfume, floral and a bit sweet (although I usually don’t like sweet perfumes). Does anyone else have a favourite that has been discontinued?

Is anyone familiar with the old Tiffany fragrance? I loved it, but I went to their website and saw that it’s gone. 🙁 They have a new fragrance so I’ve ordered it in the body lotion so I can see if I like the scent before I spend big in the perfume.

Has anyone tried the new Tiffany fragrance? What are your thoughts on it?

I always loved Loccitane vanilla, I wore it all the time and was devastated when they discontinued it, it had a gorgeous fresh vanilla scent, I so wish they would bring this back

I loved ‘Tomorrow’ by Avon. Don’t think they have it anymore, which is a shame as it was really nice.

I love Rosabotanica by Balenciaga and actually found it on Perfume Clearance Centre! It was only discontinued in the past 5 years or so which is probably why there are still some bottles circulating.

Otherwise, make sure you find 3 or 4 favourites just in case!

I’ve been buying The body shops Fuzzy peach since I was a teen. Then a couple of years back I go to purchase another one and they tell me it’s been discontinued. I was devastated.

I also have vivid memories of an amazing perfume I used to wear as a teenager in Scotland. I’m sure it was made by Coty, it was a violet musk oil. The smell was amazing, and smelt like parama violet musk sweets. (Lollies)
I’ve never came across another with the same scent. I used to get stopped on the street, to ask what I was wearing. The boys used to like it too. Ha ha!

My favourite discontinued fragrance is Baby Rose Jeans by Versace. It’s the most fresh smelling, everyday scent but it was such a unique fragrance that I used to get stopped on the street by strangers asking about my beautiful perfume. Haven’t had that happen with any other perfume.

My all time favourite discontinued perfume is the original Rykiel by Sonia Rykiel. Smelled absolutely delicious. There’s nothing like it now. But I have to say I’m pretty eclectic when it comes to perfumes. I have many favourites so I don’t wallow in grief too long. My current favourite is Eros Pour Femme by Versace. It probably won’t last long and there are so many Versace spawns…. far too many for them all to survive. A bit like the Bvlgari range. I loved the original Bvlgari in the blue bottle, but I haven’t seen that one recently either. The spawns are a bit “take them or leave them”.

I stumbled on Sally 10’s comment about Meadowsong by Goya! I thought I was the only person left in the universe that remembers this perfume! I’m ancient and I remember this when I was relatively young, and I tried to track it down more recently. Even if the perfume was no longer in production, I wanted to find a person or a company that still held the history of that fragrance. Of course, like so many other fragrances, I just came to a dead end. Meadowsong was amazing and before it’s time. The closest I can match it to is Eternity by Calvin Klein. If only I could travel back in time and bring some back. Sally, I was living in the UK when this fragrance was available, and it was sold there, along with Aqua Manda, another Goya fragrance. Where did you purchase it? Many thanks, Zulika.

Oh my, i would be so devastated if my favourite scent was discontinued. I have wondered what i would do, but my favourite is J’adore by Christian Dior, so i should be safe for awhile. I hope! Can anyone recommend a red rose scented perfume? I’d love to find one. The closest i have found is Rose Essentielle by Bvlgari, but it doesn’t smell enough like red roses. Please advise if you can!
