Amouage has some really beautiful fragrances and at $399+ a pop, if you have the opportunity to browse in person, definitely do!
I’ve been umming and ahhing over a Clive Christian trio, which includes No 1 (the world’s most expensive perfume). I’d love to see if the world’s most expensive perfume is like, but at those prices, what if I hate it? Another one on my list to check out if I ever find myself at a big city perfume counter.
I just got my first Diptyque fragrance – Fleur de Peau. I love it! I bought the body cream as well. Smells beautiful! I’ve been eyeing Diptyque for awhile but this was the first one I HAD to have.
Would love to check out more of Le Labo if I had the chance. I’m not overly fond of their unisex type fragrances. I do love the Lys 41, Labdanum 18 and I plan on getting the Iris 39(? – not sure about that number off the top of my head) when spring rolls around.
Histoires de Parfums makes some wonderful scents and Robert Piguet is also great IF you like that sort of thing. I love Fracas, my daughter hates it. There does not appear to be any middle ground with Robert Piguet.
Frapin in another one to try. 1270 is amazing.
A Lab on Fire is another one I’d check out if I had the chance, as well as Tiziana Terenzi.
But also worth exploring even though not quite niche is the harder to find fragrances of designer perfume brands Lancome and Chanel. I recently got Lancome’s 1001 Roses, which I love! I’ve been on the fence with Frederic Malle’s Portrait of a Lady, but I recently ordered 1001 Roses and I LOVE it! It’s similar to POAL but better, I think, and a much better price point. And the Chanel Les Exclusifs range is magic. It’s like niche-meets-designer. My husband got me a sampler set on a recent overseas trip. SO many great fragrances! And I recently got 1957, which I love. IMO, Chanel never gets it wrong and the Les Exclusifs range is stunning.
I’d love to know what you end up trying and liking!
