I use Crest Whitening strips once or twice a year when I feel my teeth need a little boost. I get them off Amazon US. They are really effective, but would advise against them if you have sensitive teeth because my sister tried them and said her teeth were in too much pain.

Thanks for the info Kassalee,
I do have bicarb soda in my cupboard but starting off the baking powder is 1/3 the strength so I might up the strength as I just tried the powder yesterday. Years ago I tried the hydrogen peroxide, but so frightened I might swallow that I stopped that.
The White Glo toothpaste is one of the ones that I really did find effective too, better than some others on the market.
I have my coffee every morning and relax, don’t really want to go running to brush my teeth immediately, also the same if I’m having a red wine. There comes a time to choose your chores or relax. I’m reasonably happy with my teeth but would like them whiter, but as you get older this is part of life anyway. Just keep them clean and checked out to ensure they are healthy.

These are all the same item –
Baking soda,
bicarb
bicarb soda
bicarbonate of soda,
Baking Powder is a raising agent added to plain flour and contains a mixture of a carbonate or bicarbonate and a weak acid – not sure how good a substitute it is for bicarb soda but Am 1851 uses it so must be ok.
