Gum Disease – Suitable Oral Hygiene Products

I am currently seeing a periodontist for treatment of gum disease. I have extremely sensitive gums which has resulted in the gum disease over time. Thankfully I have no issues with my teeth, but without proper treatment, gum disease can lead to tooth loss, which is why I’m currently undertaking the very expensive treatment option! 🙂
So, I have a question just in regards to this issue.
I am currently using Sensodyne toothpaste but the taste of it isn’t very strong and to my liking. I was just wandering if anyone knows of any other brands of toothpaste, or products within the Sensodyne range that might be of help? I don’t want to buy a lot of different brands for nothing.
As mentioned, as my gums are very sensitive I need to use a product that is suitable for that. Thanks in advance!
