The Voice New Format

Is anyone else really annoyed how they changed the format of The Voice this year so the top 4 were decided last night in an ad break?? So annoyed, now my favs are out. Channel 9 are really messing things up this year IMO. First The Hotplate almost identicle to MKR (in the courts apparently being sued) and now this mess with The Voice. Think I won’t bother watching the finale now which is a shame as have seen each week. That’s my 2 cents winge for the week 🙁

    I gave up watching The Voice a few years back because Delta annoys me. I really liked it when Seal was a judge.

      I liked Seal also @Izzy but I don’t mind Delta either. Now that we are Channel 7, hubby is watching the family one (at least it will be a quick show). Loving Rita and Guy and Jessica I can take or leave but I just cannot stand Guy. I have no idea why this guy is so popular.

      Is anyone watching the family one, I think the final is on tonight. Going to be hard to choose but that dad and his son on guitars are so good, but then the father and daughter sing so lovely also and the family are awesome too.

      lol I haven’t watched it for a long time but Delta never annoyed me… that is funny Izzy. 😀

      I will be watching it soon when it comes on because my nephew’s wife is going to be on it. yay!

    I’m excited Rita Ora is chosen for 2021 Judge. She has an upbeat personality and is very pretty.

    Okay Indie – guess what I am watching? It just pulled me in because I do like Kelly, Delta & Boy George. Still don’t like Guy though.

    I am trying to understand what happened at the end tonight though? I won’t mention it in case others haven’t tuned in yet.

    I am resurrecting this thread because a new series of The Voice is starting on Channel Nine on Sunday, May 19 at 7 pm. Based on the advertisements I’ve seen for the show, it seems like they are changing the format of the show again. They are bringing back favourite old contestants to compete with contestants that haven’t been on the show before.

    Just remembered this thread. So Sam won. I still don’t think it is right and although hubby was really liking him, he wasn’t that impressed with him the last 2 shows.

    So, Sam has won and we haven’t heard anything about him yet or have we?

    I was disappointed that Australia did not provide enough votes for Ben Clark (the opera singer) to appear in the grand final. Anyway, this could be a blessing – sometimes the winners of singing talent shows don’t have great careers afterwards. Also, the winners usually have the pressure from recording companies to come out with an album quickly, and I’m not sure if this pressure would work for an opera singer.
    It’s a pity that we won’t get to see Ben and his mentor, Delta, sing a duet in the grand final.
