Oh they aren`t worth anyones time. I told my husband that I wouldn`t p*&s on them if they were on fire. Totally unlady like I know but when you are trying to stave off depression and are constantly worried about it anyway as there is a family history on both sides, you think you should be able to count on your friends for support. Some people have very ugly true colours.
I am glad you are on the path to happiness Redlox you know you always have support here. lol

It is true, and I feel “”safe”” here because (aside from anomnity) I know that no one will get bitchy at me. People here are so willing to help it makes it so much easier to do now.
Glitter Girl – I had depression as well so it was comforting to know I was not alone. I thought maybe my post can reach others and hopefully make them feel a little better as well.
Princess75 – it is sad what you had to go through but at least now you know they are not worth your time.

It is much easier to talk to people you don`t know well as people we are close to often do judge us. which is funny considering our family and friends are those who are meant to love you unconditionally, that includes no judgement.
I had a group of girlfriends who judged me after I had my baby. I was what the doctor called `emotionally distressed`, the stage just before you hit depression and because I didn`t want to do some things etc a couple of them got really bitchy, everything has to be about them so they found a way to make my exciting, overwhelming, wonderful, scary life changing experience about them. All of them have children too and all were went through similar things to myself, funny how short some peoples memories can be. I don`t talk to those 2 anymore and quite frankly if they came to me desperate for any kind of help, I would turn my back and walk away.
I find women are often our own worst enemies. What happened to the sisterhood. I mean, that`s why men run countries (all but a few) and they pretty much always win survivor (hehe) but it`s true, it`s because women get competetive in a bitchy judgemental way. We need to embrace each other for all our good and bad which I think most of us do for each other here on this site.

Thank you for sharing that with us Redlox – sometimes is feels good to get things off your chest. Some of us have really opened up with each other on this site (I have talked about my depression) I think it helps that we don`t know each other personally – nobody can judge. I hope you are now healthy and enjoying life 🙂

I`ve had an ED (anorexia) and I got this in school when I was also suffering depression – just stopped eating enough and caring about myself because no one else seemed to for a long time. It was my way of hiding from everyone and I thought “”If I disappear physically then no one can get me.””

Luckilly, I realised how bad it was and I had a really hard time putting on weight because of my body`s status. It freaked me out (when I was getting help) when total strangers would walk up to me and ask what diet I used or for tips on throwing up rich food. It was so horrible and if anyone here does have any form of ED please get help because it`s not a life you control, it`s a negative part of the mind controlling you to the point where there is no fun or enjoyment in life anymore.

I don`t know why Size 0 is so good because if you`re too skinny tthe body will reply: hair falls out and loses shine, skin turns greyish and grows more hair to keep the body warm, organs fail, sleep is disrupted, you get so cold you wanna wear jackets in summer, and nothing is fun.

It was hard to say this but it`s easy for me because no one on this site knows me personally, but mostly because it was horrible and I want to save people from my experience.

im a struggling to start designer and im also a bigger girl and i design for curvy girls. and also the group of peole i hang around are mainly guys and they all say they like the skinny girls but the girlfriends they have had or are with are normal size girls and not the skeletons they perve on. its really quite funny.i was talking to my mate the other night and he told me its not just the girls who get the skinny is better problem. he told me that guys think about that stuff too. i never really thought about it to tell the truth and since he opened my eyes i dont tend to worry about it so much. but the indestry def needs to open its eyes and see the real women and listen to what they want.
everybody is beautiful and no one should be catogorised on looks.

I don`t think you have to be skinny to be beautiful but i guess there are a few people that do think they have to be though

beauty definately beats skinny, being skinny has been an issue since forever, you don`t ahve to be skinny to be beautiful but i think people want to be skinny because the media does not put average people in the paper and promotes skinny instead, you should love yourself, skinny or big, beauty is not everything and i seriuosly hate skinny girls getting put on the catwalk
