Renee Zellweger

Did anyone else see Renee Zellweger on The Project last night? It’s true she’s totally unrecognizable. Talk about plastic surgery gone wrong. Her eyes and mouth looked awful. I thought her face would crack any second. What a shame as she looked fine in original Brigit Jones Diary. Hollywood craziness.

I still think she’s recognisable as ‘her’! Yes, she does look quite different, and yes, potentially attributable to surgery, but let’s not forget it’s been quite some time since the last movie was made, so age probably also contributes to that. And agree with Gilded, they must be under so much pressure to compete with the younger set!

Either way, I thought the movie was totally frawsome (freaking awesome)! I laughed really hard and really enjoyed it, I would love to watch it again. 🙂

PS- How hilarious was Emma Thompson?!

I think she looked better before the surgery, saw Bridget Jones’s Baby yesterday at the movies, I laughed for the whole two hours, it was great.

Oh I think she still looks similar to her ‘natural’ self. In my opinion she looks better now. Crazy that I didn’t find this shocking…im so used to seeing this. If you look back hardly anyone has their original nose. haha Must be a different life.

I think it is so sad that someone would feel so insecure that they would want to change their appearance so much. She looks so different! Don’t get me wrong, I am very insecure about my looks but I don’t think I would ever undergo surgery to change them, just trying to embrace them! Also, I am broke 😀 However, I have to say, if it was something that she really wanted to do, then good on her for having the balls to do it! I guess there are always more than two side to any story…

I don’t want to be mean 🙁 🙁 but in her before (R) and after (L) pics it does look like her eye shape is different, her brows appear lower (loss of bone cartilage? Could be natural process of aging). Maybe shes dabbling with fillers on her cheeks and jawline too but in her defense her face has kind of always been on the (adorably) puffy side.

Can’t imagine the pressure they must be under to compete with younger actors. =/

She looks different and has definitely dabbled with plastic surgery but I don’t think she looks bad

Do you think it`s fillers? I think they all start to get a bit of a bloated, puffy look around their forties and beyond. I wonder if that`s why they claim they`ve had no surgery – because it`s injectables rather than actual surgery? Maybe that`s what they consider “”natural”” in the biz?

I think so! The most noticeable change to me is her cheeks and eyes and I`m thinking it`s due to fillers. I`ve thought the same thing, they don`t consider injectables to be surgery so they can get away with saying they haven`t been under the knife!

Aww… That’s a bit harsh. Yes, she looks different. But in the same way that when Nicole Kidman reached a certain age, she suddenly looked quite different too. Those lips… In no way do they resemble her former lips, and yet she insists she hasn’t changed them. I say bologney to that, but whatever. Not my face, not my problem.

Madonna’s face is nowhere near her former face. Even the guys in Hollywood look different. Brad Pitt, George Clooney, Johnny Depp and Hugh Grant are a few who come to mind. I think the amount of makeup they have to wear to be on stage, TV and film really contributes to that bizarre mummified look. And they do have a bit of medical intervention, surely. But I think it’s just part of the job.

Renee Zellweger doesn’t look so different that she couldn’t pass for her former role as Bridget Jones. If she did, I’m sure that would have been a big issue for the people shelling out the bucks to make that film.
