Heidi Klum’s lipstick on America’s Got Talent

I don’t follow celebrities or talent shows and I am a skeptic. I was forwarded this clip on whatsapp. A pair of Clairvoyants audition for America’s Got Talent. They ask the judge, Heidi Klum to hand over a random object from her handbag and it turns out to be a lipstick. The blindfolded Clairvoyant says exactly what it is, a lipstick and also tells the shade number correctly.

A quick Google search tells me that it is ‘Astor’ brand of lipstick that Heidi Klum endorses and it sells for €2.50 on eBay. You think Heidi Klum actually wears the cheap lipstick she endorses and keep it in her handbag all the time?

This screams that the entire thing ‘staged’ to me and the judges are in on it! Heidi is getting PR for her lipstick on a popular show. Quite tricky!

Hahahahahaha…it’s funny what our minds tend to focus on. Something that I would focus on, my husband would be totally oblivious to and vice versa.

As they say magic (in this case ad) happens where you`re not looking 😀 Now You See Me, Now You Don`t!

Me too 😀 I want to see the second one but I`ll wait till I can rent on iTunes. I love all the magic movies like The Illusionist!

hhahaha … Detective DG on the case. I think you’re on to something here. I can’t picture HK using a cheapie for everyday.

Hehe I feel silly for posting this! My mind automatically gravitated towards the lipstick and wasn`t even trying to figure out how they did the trick 😀 it`s a subtle product placement!

I agree – it sounds very much like a promotional campaign rather than a valid clairvoyant finding.

Haha love the oxymoron: `valid clairvoyant finding`! 😀
