Stretch Marks and Cellulite after pregnancy!!

I am currently 32 weeks pregnant. I’ve been using Bio Oil since I found out I was pregnant, which was in my 8th week. I have managed to keep the stretch marks around my stomache area at bay so far, but after hitting 32 weeks they are starting to creep in. My stomache is itching too much these days and i tend to scratch it and im guessing this is the reason for the sudden appearance of stretch marks around the stomache. Aside from this i had stretch marks on my thighs since i was 16. I am also getting cellulite around my thighs now as well.
Can someone please suggest a tried and tested product that actually works to get rid of stretch marks and cellulite? I REALLY dont want to have them after my birth as well.

Hi everyone, the best tip I can give for anti Cellulite products is Dry Body Brushing or Wet Body Brushing and after showering or bathing, applying a natural oil such as Coconut Oil which is also cooling in Summer or any of the following:

    Grape seed Oil
    Almond Oil
Apricot Oil (There’s a list at

    http://www.carmelsbeauty secrets.com.au )

When I was pregnant,I always applied Coconut Oil or Apricot Oil as a layering oil before body cream.I have four children and people think Ive had work. The only work I’ve had is my own applying of the oils to avoid stretch marks and other little surprises we are presented with when pregnant!! Best thing about natural oils is that they are natural and so cheap compared to expensive products which claim to actually address Cellulite.xx

If you apply these as a layering oil underneath you usual body cream/moisturiser it will help alleviate Cellulite,it really works but you must be disciplined with it and not miss a day for the first month.

I also have a proocedure you can perform which starts with Body Brushing which helps alleviate Cellulite and also keep it from comig back. There are many claims out there that state that Cellulite cannot be removed but not so,many of my clients have used the method and it does work.

READ THIS ARTICLE. I am young, have never been pregnant and have stretch marks. I hated them and didn’t know how to get rid of them, and wasted money trying many different products that didn’t do much at all. This article made me realise the cause of the problem and that it can’t necessarily be fixed as easily as companies make out 🙂

I really hope it helps and remember that you are beautiful in every way and I hope your pregnancy goes well!

If the stretch marks are pretty deep and wide, I’m sad to say you’re stuck with them. I got stretch marks during the last few weeks of my pregnancy and I was using heaps of oil/moisturiser throughout my pregnancy. I really wasn’t expecting them because my mum had 5 children and never got stretch marks so I found out my skin elasticity must be from my dad’s genes (you failed me enough dad… damn you lol).

They will fade over time (if they’re the thin ones they will fade to a white colour, virtually unnoticeable) but like I said if they’re pretty wide and deep; they’re going to keep you company for the rest of your life. Unless you get a tummy tuck 😉
