Needing a new body moisturiser to repair my dry skin from winter now that spring has finally sprung. Wondering if anyone has a recommendation of a product they use in springtime. Something that absorbs quickly into the skin and repairs dry skin
Hi Nicoler112, I'm in the same boat as you. I usually get whatever is on special at the supermarket . I've just purchased eleven moisture lotion from adorebeauty and I love it. Its scent is light fresh & cucumbery and it absorbs really fast. The brand is aus made and owned. Not too expensive either.
Just checked and its got 5/5 stars from 2 reviews on here.
L'Occitane almond milk body cream is my favourite. Sink in quickly and SO nourishing!
I use Aveeno Sheer Hydration which I love, fragrance free and very hydrating or a Nivea Q10 firming body lotion.
Dermaveen intensive moisturising cream is my current go to! It's so thick and creamy but absorbs instantly. It literally brought my dry skin back from the dead!
I’m finding it difficult to find something ultra nourishing but light. I’m still loving the body shop body yoghurt but it’s not heavy duty enough to deeply hydrate my skin, especially now drier weather is here.
I am using Trilogy's body oil at the moment which is really good, I am really liking it =) It is a lot lighter than creams/lotions and very deeply moisturising.
I am really loving their facial oil so this might be on to a winner
I have just discovered Cetaphil Moisturising Lotion. It is the BEST moisturiser I have EVER used. Give it a try. It has saved my skin after a harsh Winter.
My fav body lotions are Lush' Karma Kream & Dream Cream! I love them and use them pretty much all year round, I just rotate between them for the scents, Karma Kream is a little more citrus (so good for spring/summer), whilst Dream Cream is a little more natural and neutral for the winter months.
The Body Shop body yoghurts are great. They absorb quickly and are really hydrating.
thanks for the tip, the smell good but good to hear they absorb quickly too. added bonus
MOR do great ones. Pricey though.
I have very large pores and I am always looking for pore fillers/primers. After seeing many recommendations on YouTube I decided to give this a try and I'm not overly excited.
I chose the shade Taupe as it's a great cool toned light brown and matches my natural brows perfectly. It comes in a glass jar, screw top lid and made in Italy.
I am a pale neutral skin tone and find it hard to get a pale bronzer that doesn't have a stark orange, red or pink undertone as I find these just don't work for me.
I've just started getting in to essential oils, and am currently using them in a humidifier…
