QV vs Dermaveen? Or other great gentle body washes for sensitive skin

Over the years by body has become quite sensitive, especially to chemical-ridden and drying body washes. I have slightly dry, but sensitive skin and I am looking for a new body wash that is gentle and good for my skin!

I’ve been looking at the QV gentle wash and the Dermaveen extra gentle (these are both the SLS free versions of their body washes) but not too sure.

I like the Dermaveen, but I’ve also used Sukin before and it was quite nice for dry, sensitive skin when you’re looking for something sls free.

I use QV Gentle Wash whenever my skin gets irritated. Within a couple of days my skin is back to normal. It is a nice creamy formula .

Billie Goat Soap is the one brand that has made a huge difference to my son`s psoriasis. When we swapped him onto it, he had a bad flare up & irritation all over his scalp in particular – using their shampoo and conditioner turned the problem around in a matter of days. All their products are lovely, they make bars of `soap`, body wash, lotions, hair products etc and they are very affordable too

Thanks for letting me know Cetaphil has SLS, I had no idea – I assumed as it`s such a low ie virtually no suds formula that it wouldn`t contain any. I know my sensitive skin on my face is loving the fact I use it as my morning cleanser in the shower, plus I often use it as an all-over cleanser. It feels so soothing and truly lovely to use

Yes according to the Priceline website, the ingredients in the more gentle versions of the washes are SLS free!

I recommend Cetaphil – it’s definitely gentle on the skin and doesn’t contain nasties!

Pretty sure that the Dermaveen extra gentle and the QV gentle wash are the SLS free versions of their original washes

This has been very helpful, thank you ladies. A few recommendations I’m interested in trying. I was going to try the Dermavene but after reading this, I’ll choose differently I think.

try Billy Goat’s Soap body wash, I have a family member with psoriasis and it’s both moisturising and gentle enough for his sensitive skin

Also I highly recommend Cetaphil – it can be used as a face wash (no suds / SLS) and body wash. I always have one in the shower now
