Feel very lucky to have received such a fantastic haul to review! I smell delicious 🙂

  • 4 yrs, 9 mths ago

I have completed all my reviews and the post trial survey today.
Very much enjoyed taking part in this trial, although the shampoo was quite harsh for me all other aspects were good. Still love that gorgeous tropical scent, next on the list to try is the other coconut version (yellow bottle) and the rose =)

That’s a great idea for using the shampoo and conditioner if you don’t like it. Especially when I love this scent – for me it starts off as coconut and then after scent that linger is more mimosa. It’s soooo nice 🙂

Did anyone receive an error trying to click on the link to submit a review for these products? I’ve emailed Jess already but was wondering if it happened to them?

    • 4 yrs, 9 mths ago

I did my reviews for the body wash & lotion last night, they were submitted and approved this morning. Haven`t done the shampoo and conditioner yet though. Perhaps lots of beauties are trying to get their reviews for them done and this is why there was a error? Perhaps give it another try a bit later and see if it is working?

      • 4 yrs, 9 mths ago

I’m going to try and do some my reviews tonight so I’ll let you know if I have any trouble with the links.

      • 4 yrs, 9 mths ago

Thanks Amazeballs16. The personalised link i was sent gives me a 404 error. Should i just submit my review normally instead? I have checked the link a few times and it doesn`t work unfortunately.

      • 4 yrs, 9 mths ago

I would think you would be allowed to, perhaps email Jess and let her know that your personalised link isn`t working and can you do it as per normal, otherwise you could write out your review & copy & paste it in an email through to Jess and she could put it through for you. I had a similar issue last year trying to do a review for a foundation, the page would not load for me so I wrote out my review, emailed it through and they submitted it for me.
I hope that helps and good luck xx

Thank you! Jess emailed me to post the review and she will apply the TT badge to it. Now for the life of me (mumbrain) I can`t seem to remember if I posted my shampoo review or not as it is not showing under Pending. Should i resubmit just in case?

      • 4 yrs, 9 mths ago

Our reviews no longer shower up under the Pending section, they removed that feature during the last site updates unfortunately! All your reviews will still go through successfully though, if it comes up with the standard message after submitting that they have gone through, wait up to five days to recieve points etc than it has been sucessful. To make sure you can also go into the page of the product you have just submitted a review for and down the very bottom of that page, below any/all other published reviews will be “”your review is currently pending, we only accept one product review per product per user””, if you aren`t sure a review has gone through succesfully a quick look on the products page should tell you whether you have a pending review for it or not =)
I am glad to hear Jess was able to help you with your reviews =)

Thanks so much for your insight and guidance! I will check out the products page again. You have made my day 🙂

Edit: I just checked and it has been submitted. Thanks again lovely xx

I stopped using shampoo and cond. And gave a review. It will be pending for a while. I did not do 1 star reviews in a while.

Reviewed the lotion and wash as well yesterday. They are good, being supermarket brand and Unliever owned, made in Thailand. My housemate was busted, he was using the wash this whole time…hahaha…the scent from the bathroom gave him away. He loves it.

He was complaining of a very dry beard, flaking skin like crazy also. I asked if he was using the mimosa shampoo to wash it, he nodded. Said, smells so nice. I said: avoid man, avoid. So I pulled it out of the shower and gave him a gentle face cleanser. Plus gave him restoring oil and “manly” moisturizer. No more flaking and dryness.

I repurposed the shampoo/cond. Never wasting products in my house hahah….shampoo is now a laundry liquid. Conditioner is a softener. Just want nicely scented linen! Very niiiice.

    • 4 yrs, 9 mths ago

That is fantastic idea. Never ever thought of that.

    • 4 yrs, 9 mths ago

I love the idea of using the conditioner as a fabric softner, I had no idea you could even do that! Have you actually tried it and do your towels smell fantastic? 🙂

      • 4 yrs, 9 mths ago

Yup! Everything smells so nice! I also wash my house clothing (ya know, those baggy super-over-sized, natural fibers stuff that you would never wear in public haha…) with these. Love the scent, subtle but so refreshing.

Ya, my nutty housemate also uses these to wash his clothing now. Ah well…

I do pop tiny amount of washing powder (non scented one, bio friendly), blob of this shampoo over it…in softener container pop a blob or two of the conditioner. And voila! Niiiice

      • 4 yrs, 9 mths ago

Haven`t tried it with this conditioner brand but have used quite a few conditioners as fabric softener. They work just as good as the real thing and you have more aromas to choose from! I usually use a coconut conditioner with my clothes. Makes them smell so good and leaves them super soft!

Sounds great, I`ll definitely be doing that now. Love the tips you can pick on on BH! 🙂

        Homeheaven lives on maydayismyday !

      • 4 yrs, 9 mths ago

I almost mentioned that in my comment but didn`t think anyone would get the reference. I miss that place!

      • 4 yrs, 9 mths ago

So glad we were on the same wavelength as I was worried the Homeheaven reference might not be understood!

    • 4 yrs, 9 mths ago

Your housemate sounds so funny,! the things you`ve mentioned about him from time to time make me think he would be a fun guy to share a house with.
Conditioner as a softener sounds like a great idea, From what I`ve read it seems the smell is the only good thing about these products

Did anyone get 5 bonus points for submitting body lotion review? It was stated in the email it will be done.

  • 4 yrs, 9 mths ago

I got mine last Wednesday also. I remember as I was trying my hardest NOT to spend at Rewards Room…then the extra 100 points came and I had enough for the few items I wanted lol

  • 4 yrs, 9 mths ago

Just curious if anyone has received their 100 social media points?

  • 4 yrs, 9 mths ago

I am nearly ready to do my reviews for the body wash and lotion, have used consistently since recieving so have now formed a solid opinion on them.
Shampoo and conditioner I think will wait until just before due date. Can we review the body products first and come back later to review the hair duo or does it all need to be done in the one go?
I have scaled back to using the shampoo & conditioner once a week now, the shampoo leaves my hair a bit too clean! I have noticed a big increase in split ends lately as well =(
I still like the conditioner, it works well at putting back in most of the moisture that the shampoo takes out but I think the shampoo is a bit too harsh for my hair, sadly. Will continue using until due date before posting review to get more of a solid opinion.

Hi Amazeballs16 there was an email from Jess on 30/5/19 at 10.21am to say –

For this trial you only have to review 3 of the products: the shampoo, the conditioner & the body wash.
The body lotion review will be optional but you will receive 5 bonus points for completing,

So only the body wash and shampoo and conditioner reviews are required to complete your trial – and the post trial survey.

I’m sure you can go into your link and only review the body wash and then return to do the shampoo and conditioner at a later time – they should still sit there waiting for you to review.

Only these 3 products appear in the link.

Like you, I’m ready to review the body products but will give the hair products until next weekend.
