Do you exercise?
Do you exercise? If yes what things do you to elevate your heart rate? I am struggling to type today after doing a boxing session. This would be my third in my whole life. I am pretty fit and exercise daily. I am a member of a gym.

My way of exercising is taking stairs whenever I can!
Just recently I’ve climbed a total of 14 times on a 7 story building for some charity event. My legs were so so sore for the next 4 days.
But apart from stairs, I love to run too. Long distance running. It kinda empties out my mind too while I run which I thought it’s quite good.

I’ve been sooooooooooo slack the last couple of months (I blame night shifts) but when I was going ham in the gym before that, I did HIIT cardio (which is a LOT more effort, but also a LOT quicker than normal cardio) and my weapon of choice was the stairmaster/step machine. Quickest and easiest cardio machine to elevate my heart rate.
If I combine cardio and weights on the same day, I do cardio after my weights. Weights also tend to get up my heart rate, if you go heavy and intense enough. The problem with heart rate is that it kind of relies on what you put in more than on what you’re doing… I wish I didn’t have to put in the effort some days :-p
I think an easy exercise for heart rate is also using the jump rope. I can’t do it because for some mysterious reason my bladder has betrayed me – I haven’t given birth and I’m only 31 but when I jump too often I am done with LOL

I exercise about 3 times a week. I’m in a wheelchair with nerve damage and a brain injury, so my neuropsychiatrist and physios are hoping the exercise will help repair some of the brain damage. I’m really lucky as the gym I go to is specifically designed to help people with disabilities.

Hello Ab.Cam.84
So nice to hear that your gym is supportive, it must make it easier to go knowing you are supported and helped, and good on you for going 3 times a week.
