At home laser hair removal??

Does anyone know if any at home laser hair removal products work??

I have been looking at a few but a little bit sceptical as to if they actually work!

Yes, I have a Phillips Lumea and loved it! It stopped working just after the warranty expired and I’ve not had a chance to send it in to get it looked at, I’m scared it will be expensive to fix.

It really thinned my hair out and it grew back much slower, finer, softer and more sparse. I especially loved that it worked really well for my bikini line. I hate waxing there (who needs the pain from waxing anywhere really?), and if I use a cream or shave I’m SO itchy it’s just not worth it. But I can shave and use the IPL straight after and I don’t get the itchiness or stubble. I got the one that has the facial attachment too but I didn’t get around to trying that because I could never find a white eyeliner (which is reecommended to use to line you lips when doing the upper lip). I really want to try that because I have issues waxing and threading my upper lip so must resort to plucking. I’m hoping it will work on the hormonal hairs along my jaw. It can not be used on brows.

I think it’s so good that I will encourage my daughter, when she’s old enough, to use that instead of any other hair removal method.

My only regret is that I didn’t get one sooner.

I’ve never even considered getting an at-home machine before. I had 3 sessions on underarms and brazillian areas before falling pregnant and noticed a massive difference with just the 3.

I’m keen to get back into it, but the inconvenience has kept me away. It’s so handy to know about the 90 day trial period at shaver shop. That would really put my mind at ease!

I’ve used the smooth skin ipl and it was really great. I had professional laser in the past on bikini and under arms so bought this for my legs and it was really effective. A good feature also is it has a feather touch for those more sensitive areas.

Please keep us posted kellydud 🙂 I got a few laser hair removal sessions at a clinic and because I spaced the visits too far apart and didn’t do enough, I barely had any results (but I do now have itchy skin there… great!) so I’m looking at more convenient alternatives.

I’ve just bought a Remington pro and have only used it once so far. Obviously it’s too soon to see results but I like the fact that I can do it at home and treat several different areas all for less than the cost of a course of sessions in the salon.

I got the Flash & Go Luxx HPL System years ago (have been very slack in using though!) But after a few uses I do notice a difference & used it on hubby to and def less hair than before. I am not very hairy overall but I do have less hair since using it.

Each product is different though and you need to look into it, the particular one I have is not suited for darker skin or very light hair it states on the box not recommended so I would double check the one you want.

Shaver shop have a few that give you like a 90day money back guarantee so if you can use it regularly if you don’t like it you can return it.
