It was an absolutely amazing event! Three amazing stations were set up and in one we were given beautiful hand massages from the lovely Body Shop staff with their christmas collection products (I have to say the Frosted Plum line, especially the scrub is to die for). Throughout the hand massage, we learnt a lot about the process behind the making of the products and the ingredients in each of them too! It was great to see the different sources of the ingredients and the love and care that goes into making each and every product.
At another station we learnt about their Play for Peace Campaign. Every seasonal gift set purchased from the Body Shop helps Syrian refugee children play in a safe place for a year. It is an amazing initiative and its amazing that the person receiving the gift will also know that just by using the products the whole while they are also part of this campaign. Also, most of the gift sets have a lot of fun games hidden within them, for example, each item in the advent calendars have a little task on the back which you can complete on each day of the month!
At the last station, all of us lucky BH members were able to trial any shade from The Body Shop liquid lipstick in the Matte and Metal range. The lovely staff walked us through their various lip treatments (such as the lip scuff and balms) then proceeded to apply the shade we had all chosen. I must say their Metal Liquid Lipstick range is absolutely amazing!
Furthermore, throughout the entire event we had a guess the scent competition going on where the lucky winner would win a Body Shop advent calendar! The game was a lot of fun and everyone stepped out of the event smelling delicious!
At the end, we received a goodie bag with our trial product as well as some other fun items! I’m looking forward to reviewing the products for BH!
