AHA Body peel

As a retired industry professional, I used to use the Blue AHA Peel from Pelactiv (back in the days when it was originally Pelactic). It was my go to dream product. I mixed it with there body scrub as a weekly treatment for excessively dry flaking skin.

As I am no longer in the business, I can’t buy professional anymore.
Are there any other similar AHA liquids on the market to buy online?
Normal body scrubs just don’t do it, I desperately want a liquid to add in.
Glycolic is too drying.

Any feedback would be FAB!

Thanks to everyone for their input into the forum & trial testing.

    I’m bumping this thread up.

Someone was recently asking in a forum for a good body lotion with aha or bha or both.

I can’t find post,I think it was Anne but I listed a big lot above. Hope it helps

Also have you thought about trying ninacimide body lotion. It has the same effects as ahas on the body without the nasty effects.
Niacinamide, is an all over body serum designed to address:

    Dryness
    Sun damage
Excess oil, particularly on the back and chest
    Uneven skin tone

I use one as a body treatment in consultation with macadamia / almond oil.

Here are the ones I know of. Hopefully some help.

Asap clear gel body gel. Contains ahas.

    Paula’s choice bha body lotion.

    Paula’s choice aha body lotion.

Paula’s choice body spray contains bha.

Alpha skincare glycolic acid body lotion. 14% aha.

Muac body and hand cream with aha.

    Muac body peel.

    Glytone body lotion. Aha.

Unfortunately most of these are only available online for us Australian beauties.

Have you ever tried lactic acid? It’s also an AHA and not drying. In fact, it has a moisturising effect: it increases the production of the skin’s natural fats and oils (ceramides). Other benefits include managing pigmentation by suppressing brown/red spots (tyrosinase formation), heals the epidermis and rebuilds cell walls. I’m in the process of using up all my glycolic products and switching to lactic acid.

I recommend The Ordinary Lactic Acid: https://www.priceline.com.au/the-ordinary-lactic-acid-10-ha-2-30-ml (this one is 10% lactic acid but there is also a 5% version: https://www.myer.com.au/shop/mystore/beauty/beauty-the-ordinary/lactic-acid-5–ha-2-505871380-505872640)

It includes 2% sodium hyaluonate (sodium salt of hyaluronic acid).

I think there are still some wholesalers that sell certain products to the public if I am not mistaken?
