We did our sons room in a safari type theme….I chose this over the typical blue with cars or trucks.

My 19 month old daughters room is girlie & pink. But unfortunetely we`re pretty limited in what we can do as we`re renting. :/

We`ve recently just found out that baby #2 is on the way so now its time to clear out that spare room…. o_0

We are having a girl in July and having Winnie the Pooh theme. I can`t wait for the cot to arrive next week so we can start putting it all together 🙂 🙂

Congratulations, Jessica543 – hope all goes beautifully for you all.

I love Winnie the Pooh theme, and my favourite character is Eeyore… I hope my daughter loves the theme as much as I do otherwise I`ll be devasted!

What an exciting time, congratulations! I am sure that whatever her mummy loves, she will love too 🙂 Winnie the Pooh decor is gorgeous and Eeyore is far and away my favourite, there`s such a gentle feel about him 🙂

I am due in February, and decorating the nursery now. Apparently we are having a girl, but you never know. So to be on the safe side I decided I wanted Winnie the Pooh, as it will be good both for girls and boys. We bought all the furniture from Ikea, STUVA series in birch. The walls are light purple. I have got nice Winnie the Pooh curtains and I am going to put one of those big stickers on the wall, presenting Winnie. 😉 I think it is me who like Winnie the Pooh…. hope my baby girl will like my fave toy, Piglet. Ha ha.

Anita, Congratulations!! In MY opinion you couldn`t have chosen any better! Winnie-the-Pooh is timeless and ageless (still one of my special characters at age 74!!) By this I mean ALL the Pooh characters.

Keep us posted with your progress and every possible good wish for you both and your lucky new bub.

I decorated my boy`s nursery in a nautical theme. Cloud stickers on 1 wall, blue and white striped curtains and a gorgeous framed picture of a lighthouse. The rest is neutral – beige carpet and blind, white walls and a rattan light shade.
