Hey im just wondering if anybody uses a sling to carry there kids?? I dont mean the baby bjorns i mean the fabric ones that you can use til the child is about 3. I had a baby bjorn when callum was little but he grew out of it quite quickly, i have recently seen ones one ebay that you can use til they are 3 and i was wondering if they are any good or are there any particular brands that are better. I mainly want it for carrying my son (17months) to daycare and back. Also are they supportive? I am pregnant again so can you use them if you've got a big belly in the way? I seen a pic of a woman who was carrying her toddler on her back in one sling and a baby on her front in another one!! Surely to do that they must be supportive??

Im stuck buying this product literally. I used it when my children were babies and now there a bit older and understand they no bath, cream, then bed. No cream = no bed for 3 very angry toddlers.
Smooth cream that doesn’t feel too heavy
This moisturiser has a lovely smooth texture and glides onto my skin beautifully. I found it left my skin feeling soft and supple and it also wears well under makeup.

I think they are fine up until baby starts crawling, yeah Sharna it would be ok for a few months in my opinion. Elaine still has her big son in one, but that would be far to much for me, lol.
sharna it depends which one u go for, the baby bjorn only holds up to 10kgs so that wouldnt be worth, it, i wont ever buy this again as callum grew out of it too quickly.
But the fabric slings do up until the child is around 3yrs old. So if u were going for one of these then it would be worth it. Suppsingly the moby wrap (also called sleep wrap) and the mei tei are the best ones but are pretty pricey, i will let u know how i go with the tilly sling i just bought it should be arriving tomo cos it was posted yest.
I am doing it out of convenience cos i get alot of public transport that has no wheelchair access for a pram.
ok for anyone interested the sling i got was actually an angel sling and both myself and callum love it!! he is so happy and content in it ive never seen him so quiet on the bus lol and hes just full of smile and giggles cos hes so close to me.
and from my perspective i love having my hands free again and the weigght is spread quite well so its nice and comfy!!
Thats cute elaine, I just can't see my big lump of a son who thinks he is so independant and want to walk everywhere letting me wrap him up in a sling anymore, he he.
lol i know mel callums the same wen i carry him or try strap him in a pram, but he loves it in the sling, but it could be cos ive carried him since birth??
awww and is his cold all gone yet elaine ?
im afraid to say it incase i jinx myself but yes it seems to be all good now thank god!!!
