After my son turned one I was told only to give him one bottle a day. I give him Toddler Formula in the morning, but I give him Full Cream Milk in a bottle at night when he goes to bed, it helps him settle and go to sleep. Other than that no other bottles as I only give him drinks in cups, so to hopefully get rid of the bottle all otgether soon. I definately wouldn`t give him a bottle in the middle of the night, but he rarely wakes up unless he is teething. I find he does go back to sleep fairly easily at night too.

personally it he wakes in the night, i`d let him cry himself back to sleep (if he`s crying) it`s only a comfort thing and its a habit they form really quickly if you give it to them. he`ll just keep waking and expecting it. if you know he can sleep through then he`ll be right to go without it.

I was giving my daughter several feeds during the night as she was waking up. I recently attended a sleep clinic for some sleeping advice and was told to give my daughter who is 15months a bottle when she wakes, one in the afternoon and then another before night time and to eliminate night feeds all together. I`m finding it real challenging but in the long run she and I will get a better nights sleep.
