Well from a mum-to-be’s point of view a massage sounds like heaven right now.My hubby is fantastic at trying to help, he rubs my feet, shoulders and neck, but since I can not lay on my belly anymore he is unable to give me a back rub. And right now I would love to have a proper back massage to help work the kinks out.
But a personalised journal would also be great for her to put er story in, it is something I wish I had of started when I was first told I was pregnant, but due to being sick a journal was something that was not thought of until things have started to settle down. She can take photos of her belly at various stages and add that into her writings as well.
Maternity bra vouchers would also most likely be very welcome, as depending on her size they can get rather expensive (I have to buy mine from a lingerie shop since the K-mart, Target, Best & Less and Big W dont seem to have sizes above a 16B in their maternity ranges around here 🙁 )
For the little one, wait till they arrive and buy something personalised with their name that they can keep for the years to come.

That is definitely exciting! I like the suggestions above and agree with Livi92 something pampering for your sister might be nice and something like a journal, notebook where she could record her journey through pregnancy might be nice for her to look back on later and share with the baby years from now 🙂

How exciting! I think you should get something pampering for your sister such as a massage voucher or maternity clothing voucher. For your niece/nephew something sentimental and personal such as a personalised quilt or teddy? 🙂 Or you could start making a scrapbook for her or her pregnancy and give it to her after she has bubby to continue it 🙂

I don’t know what you can get her, but I do know that you can get something for yourself from beautorium by SPAMMING the forum.

honestly, stop being so rude! Let people say what they want, if you don’t like it, don’t say anything!

I agree. I think (most) of the topics could actually get a conversation going. Harmony, YOU are spamming by replying to every thread with nonsense about spamming.

If the BH mods think that Scrumptious is a spammer, then they will get on top of it.

If you search baby shower gifts, or something along those lines you will find threads already exist with lots of helpful answers! 🙂

Congrats! Since 2008 I’ve become aunty to 5 incredible boys, ages 3, 2, 2, 1&1 (twins). They are one of the great joys in my life. For C (the eldest who turns 4 next week) we bought him a GIANT gorilla stuffed toy from toys r us and it’s still one of his favourite toys. I got his mum a serenity candle from Dusk for the baby shower. Other presents that have gotten use especially for first time mums are a baby starter pack with wipes, nappies, bibs etc., A voucher for a massage, pregnancy or after, even little things like going round and offering to mind the bub so mum can get some sleep can really mean a lot. Good luck to your sis and enjoy being an aunty!!
