Red raised rash

My 8month old son has two red rosy cheeks…which would be fine only for they feel really dry raised and rough and bumpy.
He has just gotten his first two teeth, is this whats causing it?
If so is there anything to get rid of it? Im sure it cant be comfortable, I know I hate it when I get dry skin.
If its not this does anyone know what else can cause it?

ok so my bubba`s rash is actually eczema. i asked the baby health nurse why it would start at the onset of teething and she had no clue, just it`s eczema and it`s gotta go. if your bubba`s doesn`t clear up elainebr18 maybe whip him off to the gp or health nurse.
she gave me samples of cetaphil and a few other creams and cleansers for his little face and said try them before going to the gp for medicated creams. lol:)

I must try the pawpaw as the bepathan doesnt really seem to be doing anything, also tried a curash cream but it just left him with white cheeks then back to red and lumpy.
I was also worried it could be eczema…hopefully not!!

I purchased it from a healthfood store. It`s a little more expensive than the paw paw ointment in the red containers but still reasonable. It was around $12 for a tube which is 100grams. They have a smaller size as well which is about $6.

oh i might try that B.O, was it just from a chemist or health food store? bub`s rash is clearing up and coming back day to day. I am wondering if his is actually eczema that we just thought was teething as he doesn`t seem to be cutting new teeth right now, he has a couple of little tips poking through, would that still be causing it do you think???????

I recently purchased a paw paw ointment which is petroleum free. I use it for my daughters nappy rash and it may help with the redness too. It`s from Pure Nutraceuticals and has Calendula in it.

The one that I am currently using and find really good at the moment is “”Sooth-it-Balm””…all natural ingredients, and I purchased it from the chemist…lasted me ages too.
